Hello readers,
Today I have two new thermals from Paint It Pretty Polish to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches
Sledding To Avoid Shoveling
Sledding To Avoid Shoveling features a deep inky purple to denim blue to pale blue tri-thermal base filled with aqua blue shimmer and turqoise-violet iridescent flakies. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. I do recommend waiting a bit between coats to avoid flakies dragging. This shade does dry down to a satin finish with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Sledding To Avoid Shoveling with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Snow Happens, Hot Chocolate Helps
Snow Happens, Hot Chocolate Helps features a royal purple to medium cobalt to pale cornflower blue tri-thermal base filled with magenta-orange flakies and silver reflective glitters. The formula felt a touch thick on this one, but that's mostly because of the amount of flakies in there. It was still very workable and like the last shade I just recommend waiting a little extra dry time between coats to get those flakies nice and stuck down. Top coat is also recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Photos show three coats of Snow Happens, Hot Chocolate Helps with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
