Brand Challenge: Femme Fatale Cosmetics

Femme Fatale Cosmetics Review

Hello readers,
This is it! The last three shades from my Femme Fatale collection to share. Let's take a look at swatches.

Grove Of Shards

Grove Of Shards features a berry jelly base filled with pink holo shards and a variety of glitters from tiny to large in shades of pink, red and copper. The formula was easy to work with for a chunky glitter, I didn't have to spend much time fishing for glitters in the bottle. I did find waiting a little extra time between coats helped avoid glitters dragging. This does dry down with glitter bumps so you'll likey want to double up on top coat. Photos show three coats of Grove Of Shards with one coat of Paint It Pretty Polish Smooth It Out and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Stonemother's Kiss

Stonemother's Kiss features a dark inky blue jelly base filled with small indigo glitters, copper and blue hexes, large pink and purple dots and a sprinkling of lavendar shards. Another good formula as far as chunky glitters go, I didn't have trouble getting those large dot glitters out. Unsurprisingly this dries down with glitter bumps, especially if you've got curved nail beds like I do. Extra top coat is recommended. The Terror From Below

The Terror From Below features a teal green base packed with small glitters in shades of green, gold and blue along with lots of magenta-gold shimmer. The formula was nice to work with though a tad sheer. I used three coats here and my nail tips peak through a bit, but it's not super obvious. This shade did dry down with some minor glitter texture so you'll want to use top coat.
