Today I have the new holiday collection from Paint It Pretty Polish to share with you. This collection features lots of flakie and sparkle for the season. Let's take a look at swatches
Official Cookie Tester
Official Cookie Tester feature a clear base packed with metallic flakies in sahdes of copper, gold, green and pink, small black flakies and silver reflective glitters. The formula was nice to work with though I recommend waiting a little extra dry time between coats to avoid dragging and get best coverage. I used three coats here for 90% coverage. Yes, some spots of my nail technically shows though, but the overall effect looked like a full coverage polish. Blame It On The Elf
Blame It On The Elf features a clear base filled with gold and copper-red metallic flakies. The formula was easy to work with though I do recommend waiting a little longer between coats to get best coverage. Don't Make Me Text Santa
Don't Make Me Text Santa features a black jelly base filled with small metallic gold flakes and a sprinkling of gold reflective glitter. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Don't Make Me Text Santa with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Nice Until Proven Naughty
Nice Until Proven Naughty features a white crelly base filled with metallic flakies in shades of gold, red, magenta and green. The formula was quite nice to work with. I used three coats here but it was super close after two. I suspect two may be enough for some. Photos show three coats of Nice Until Proven Naughty with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Trade Brother For Gifts
Trade Brother For Gifts features a clear base packed with silver holo shimmer, copper-gold flakies, silver holo flecks and small black flakes. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Trade Brother For Gifts with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
