Hello readers,
I took a bit of an unintentional hiatus from swatching my way through my Femme Fatale collection, but I'm back at it and into the teals. Let's take a look at swatches.
Blue Vervain
Blue Vervain features a teal jelly base filled with a variety of glitters in shades of aqua, indigo and silver. There is also a hint of scatter holo shimmer in there. The formula was pretty easy to work with. I used three coats here and while the base isn't opaque there's enough glitters I'd consider it full coverage. It does dry down with some glitter bumps, I doubled up on top coat. Photos show three coats of Blue Vervain with two coats of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Lagoon Witch (Sample 234 Nov. 2015)
Lagoon Witch features a teal tinted base packed with an assortment of small glitter in shades of teal, purple and indigo along with small gold-green flakies. I used three coats for full coverage. It did dry down with some minor texture so top coat was needed. Photos show three coats of Lagoon Witch with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Mermaid Candy
Mermaid Candy features a shimmery aqua base filled with small silver holo glitters, metallic teal flakies and a teal-green sheen. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It did dry down with some texture so top coat is recommended with this one. Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall ...
Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall ... features a bottle green tinted base filled with a strong cornflower violet shimmer and tons of small silver holo glitters. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for reasonably full coverage. My nail lines still technically show through but the sparkles took over in most lighting. Pixie Light
Pixie Light features an aqua crelly base filled with small silver holo glitters, tiny magenta glitters and a violet flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and I used three coats for full coverage. You'll want top coat with this one for a smooth shiny finish. The Emperor
The Emperor features a teal-green jelly base filled with teal flecked shimmer and small aqua and sapphire glitters. The formula was easy to work with and built up to almost opaque coverage in three coats. Photos show three coats of The Emperor with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
Mirror, Mirror, On The Wall ... is probably my favorite of this bunch. You can find Femme Fatale Cosmetics on
Happy polishing,
Michelle
