Today I have the new Pride Collection from Paint It Pretty Polish to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Be Proud
Be Proud features a cobalt blue base filled with a large particle red to gold to green shifting shimmer. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Be Proud with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Be Who You Are
Be Who You Are features a bright orange jelly base filled with a large particle foild golden shimmer. Another nice three coat formula with this one. Photos show three coats of Be Who You Are with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Born This Way
Born This Way features a plum purple jelly base filled with a large particle copper to gold to green shifting shimmer. I used three coats here and though my nail lines technically show through a little bit in most lighting the shimmer covers them up. Photos show three coats of Born This Way with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Express Yourself
Express Yourself features a bright lime green jelly base filled with a strong large particle gold to green shifting shimmer. This shade was a bit more sheer than the rest of the polishes in this collection. My nail lines do show through more, but coverage is still decent. Photos show three coats of Express Yourself with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Love Is Love
Love Is Love features a berry jelly base filled with a fiery large particle copper-gold shimmer. THe formula was excellent and this was the most pigmented shade in this collection. I used two coats here for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Love Is Love with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Love Yourself
Love Yourself features a sunny yellow jelly base filled with a strong large particle copper-gold shimmer. This was another one that was a bit more sheer. After three coats my nail lines do show through a bit, but the shimmer mostly covers them up. Photos show three coats of Love Yourself with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Gift With Purchase: Love Will Always Win
Love Will Always Win is the gift with purchase if you buy the full six shade collection. This shade features a pale silvery-white holo base filled with a copper-gold-green sheen. The formula was excellent, especially for such a pale shade. I used three thin coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Love Will Always Win with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
