Today I have seven shades I picked up directly from Bee's Knees Lacquer during their Respawn-apalooza sale to share with you. I also bought some from their stockist Gracie Jay & Co which I'll share in another post. Let's take a look at swatches.
An Act Of Love
An Act Of Love features a pale purple tinted base filled with a strong green-blue shimmer and tons of tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was easy to workcwith and built up nicely in three coats. Though technically not fully opaque, the shimmer was so strong that my nail line wasn't noticeable. It Is My Punishment
It Is My Punishment features a deep purple base fille with a strong red to gold shifting shimmer an a sprinkling of small silver holo flecks. The formula was very nice. I used three coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of It Is My Punishment with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
The Crone
The Crone features a pale blue base filled with blue shimmer and tons of small silver holo flecks. Another great formula, I used three coats here. Photos show three coats of The Crone with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
As Above So Below
As Above So Below features a deep inky blue bae filled with sapphire shimmer and small silver holo flecks. The formula was excellent and quite pigmented. I needed two coats for full coverage. Cheers To 5 Years
Cheers To 5 Years features a deep blurple jelly base filled with small teal-green flakies and tiny emerald green reflective glitters. The formula was nice to work with and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Cheers To 5 Years with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
You Can Bury Your Own Nuts!
You Can Bury Your Own Nuts! features a royal purple base filled with a strong red shimmer and lots of tiny silver holo flecks. The formula was excellent and very pigmented. I used two coats for full coverage. I heard that regular top coat might dull the purple finish so I sandwiched a water based top coat in between. Photos show two coats of You Can Bury Your Own Nuts with one coat of Apipla Smudge Free Top Coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
You're Impossibly Blasphemous
You're Impossibly Blasphemous features a blacked base filled with sapphire shimmer and tiny silver holo flecks. Another nicely pigmented two-coat formula here. Photos show two coats of You're Impossibly Blasphemous with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
My favorites of this group are An Act Of Love, As Above So Below and You Can Bury Your Own Nuts! though I'm happy with everything I bought. You can find Bee's Knees Lacquer on
