Hello readers,
I'm continuing to swatch my way through my Femme Fatale Cosmetics collection and have six more polishes to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
The Fallen Brood
The Fallen Brood features a dark purple tinted jelly base filled with a variety of purple and silver glitters and purple shimmer. I knew the jelly base was sheer so I used a blurring base coat with it. The formula was surprisingly easy to work with given all those glitters. However, not surprisingly it does dry down with glitter bumps so top coat is a must. Photos show three coats of The Fallen Brood over Polished For Days Soft Focus base coat with one coat Watcha Top Glitter smoothing top coat and one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Ruby Hare
Ruby Hare features a warm pink base with scatter holo shimmer and a soft copper sheen. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Ruby Hare with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Imperial Eve
Imperial Eve features a dark plum jelly base filled with tiny holo glitters and gold shimmer. The formula was reasonably easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It does dry down with some glitter texture so top coat is recommended. Photos show three coats of Imperial Eve with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Embercrush
Embercrush features a berry purple jelly base filled with magenta flecked shimmer and small copper flakes. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Embercrush with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Burning Dusk
Burning Dusk features a grape purple holo base with a teal-blue sheen. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Burning Dusk with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Void Shatter
Void Shatter features a charcoal grey holo base with tiny flakes in shades of fuchsia and gold. The formula was nice to work with and took two coats for full coverage. I found it did dry down with a touch of texture so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Void Shatter with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Final Thoughts
