Hello readers,
Today I have the September release from Emily de Molly to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Beyond Repair
Beyond Repair features a blurple base filled with a pink to gold to green flecked shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Beyond Repair with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Quick Facts features a periwinkle blue jelly base filled with small black glitters, black flakes and iridescent flakies in shades of green, pink and blue. The formula was easy to work with, especially considering all those flakies. I used two coats here. My nail lines still show a tiny bit but are broken up nicely. This does dry down with some small glitter/flakie bumps so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Quick Facts with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Spaces In Between features a deep purple jelly base filled with small copper glitters, small metallic pink flakies and an indigo magnetic shimmer. I used two coats here. The first I applied normally and then I magnetized the second with a bar magnet. I also used the magnet after top coat. Photos show two coats of Spaces In Between with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Such A Farse feature a green grey base filled with a pink to bronze to green shifting shimmer. Another easy to work with formula. I used three thin coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Such A Farse with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
A Boring Event is a silvery grey shimmer with hints of blue and green at an angle. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. I had some minor brush strokes with the polish alone but top coat melted them away. Photos show three coats of A Boring Event with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Group Cover features a bright fuchsia jelly base filled with small iridescent flakies in shades of orange and indigo and small black flakes. The formula was easy to apply though does dry down with some flakie bumps; top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Group Cover with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Plot Holes features a deep teal green jelly base filled with small emerald holo hex glitters. The formula was nicely pigmented, especially for a jelly base. I used two coats here for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Plot Holes with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Secret Sights features a hot pink tinted base packed with pink to peach shifting shimmer. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. However, it was super close after two so those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. Photos show three coats of Secret Sights with one coat of Seche Vite top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
My personal favorites from this collection are Beyond Repair and Spaces In Between. The September release will be available on September 20th, 2021 at 10AM AEST on the Australian site and September 19th, 2021 at 8PM EDT on the US & International site. You can find Emily de Molly on
