Hello readers,
Today I have Emily de Molly's April release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches.
Feels Pretty Real
Feels Pretty Real features a lilac purple crelly base filled with flakies in shades of gold, orange and green. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Feels Pretty Real with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Glances To Stares
Glances To Stares features a shimmery blackened base filled with a teal to purple shifting magnetic shimmer, copper hex glitters and small indigo blue flecks. The trick to this one is to wait for coats to dry down before moving on to the next so that the copper glitters are good and stuck in place. I found if I went for another coat while the previous was still somewhat wet, the glitters would all get dragged to the tip of my nails. I used two coats on all nails. On my third and fourth fingers I added a third coat and magnetized it. Photos show two coats (unmagnetized) and three coats (magnetized) of Glances To Stares with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Just Like This
Just Like This features a medium blue (cold) to pinky-beige (warm) thermal base filled with a strong blue to violet shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Just Like This with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Taking Over
Taking Over features a pale grey jelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades or pink, orange, gold and green. No issues with the formula. I used three coats here for full coverage. It does dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Begin At The End
Begin At The End feature an azure blue jelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of gold, pink and green. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. It's Never Enough
It's Never Enough features a cornflower base filled with a strong pink shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of It's Never Enough with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Might Be A Scene
Might Be A Scene features a purple jelly base filled with iridescent orange glitters, red shimmer and iridescent indigo flakes. The formula was good, especially for a polish packed with so much glitter and flakes. I used two coats here for full coverage. It does dry down with some glitter/flakie bumps so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Might Be A Scene with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
Cloud My Vision
Cloud My Vision features a pale blue-grey base filled with a pink to orange shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took three thin coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Cloud My Vision with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Note the slight bumps in the finish are user error on my part and rushing my application, not the result of the polish formula.
