Hello readers,
June (and summer!) is upon us. That means it's time to go through May's empties.
Bath & Body
Somehow I finished very few body products this month except for some epsom salts and bubble bath. These are both staples that I buy repeatedly.
Hair
Pantene's BB conditioner has officially become my favorite from the Pantene line. It smells so good and is quite effective with my frizzy hair. I wasn't a fan of the Obliphica hair serum. I found it left too much residue and made my hair feel greasy. I also didn't find the Amika Texture Spray effective. I used it when I wanted to add volume to braids or textured updo's but didn't find it made a different.
Hand & Nails
This month I finished a bottle of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat. I absolutely loved it and have already bought some more. Like most quick dry top coats, I did find it got kind of gloopy when it got down to about a third of a bottle, but thinner was effective at returning it to its original consistency.
Face
Apparently May was the month of face products. I really liked the FAB Ultra Repair Oatmeal Mask when my skin needed soothing. The e.l.f. Cosmetics lip exfoliator was amazing. I really liked that I didn't have to dig my finger into a pot to get at the scrub, and that it was nice and gritty. The real chemistry facial peel was also a new-to-me product that I really liked. I bought it in full size after finishing up this mini tube. I wasn't a big fan of the Fresh Seaberry Face Oil. I found it made me break out.
Happy polishing,
Michelle
