Today I have the January COTM shades from Girly Bits Cosmetics to share with you. This month's duo features some cool toned shades that are a perfect match for the winter weather outside. Let's take a look at swatches.
Act Your Sage
Act Your Sage features a medium murky grey base with a slight blue-green shimmer, small iridescent blue flecks, small holo glitters and tiny gold flecks. The formula was quite easy to work with. I used three coats here, but it was almost opaque in two. If you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line two may be enough for you. This dries to a not quite shiny finish so I recommend top coat to really bring everything together. Blue Year's Resolution
Blue Year's Resolution features a dusty blurple holo base with a strong teal to purple to blue shifting shimmer and tiny emerald green glitters (that tend to appear more turquoise when they peak through the blurple base). The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. This dries quite shiny on its own but I added top coat as per usual. Conclusion
My personal favorite this month is Blue Year's Resolution. It basically shoves all my favorite colours into a single polish. The January shades are available now until February 1st at 11:59pm EST for $16.50CAD each. You can find Girly Bits Cosmetics on
