Girly Bits Cosmetics Fan Favorites Re-Launch Swatches & Review

Girly Bits Fan Favorites Swatch

Hello readers,
Today I have four older shades from Girly Bits Cosmetics that were recently re-released as part of the Fan Favorites collection to share with you. I can tell you right away that Girly Bits fans certainly love their greens! Let's take a look at swatches.

Destined To Meet Again

Girly Bits Destined To Meet AgainGirly Bits Serendipity

Destined To Meet Again was originally released as Serendipity in the March 2015 A Box Indied box. This polish features a paly icy pink linear holo base with small metallic pink glitters and tiny copper flakes. The formula was relatively easy to work with though it does dry with a bit of texture due to the glitters. I used three coats here, but if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line two will likely be enough for you. Photos show three coats of Destined to Meet Again with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Fathomless

Fathomless was originally released in December 2012 as part of the Season of Sparkle Collection. This polish features a deep green jelly based filled with tiny green to blue shifting microglitters. In some lighting this looks like a true green, in others it leans a little bit more teal. The formula was very easy to work. It took three coats for full coverage, though that's not unexpected for a jelly base. The dries shiny and squishy on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Pocuscadabra

Pocuscadabra was originally released as Abracapocus in the October 2015 Beauty Quartet box. This shade features a muted green shimmery base with scatter holo shimmer, small glitters in orange and purple, and small holo glitters in green and black. The formula was quite easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This does dry with a bit of texture due to the glitters. One or two coats of top coat are recommended, depending on how perfect of a glossy sheen you need. Fatal A-Tractor

Girly Bits Fatal AtractorGirly Bits Grandma Got Run Over by a John Deere

Fatal A-Tractor was originally released as the December 2016 COTM, Grandma Got Run Over By A John Deere. This shade features a warm pine green crelly verging on jelly base with a strong pink to copper shifting shimmer and lots of tiny holographic microglitters. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here, but it was so close after two that if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line then two will likely be enough. This dries quite smooth and shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Conclusion

My personal favorite is Fatal A-Tractor. I'm also quite partial to the punny name since I came up with it. The bad news is that this batch of re-released shades has sold out. The good news is that they may make another appearance in the future.
