Today I have swatches of a new-to-me but older shade from the China Glaze Road Trip collection. A good pale blue is a must for any collection.
Dashboard Dreamer features a pale blue base with a soft shimmer that appears gold in some lighting and pink in others. The formula is good - for a pale colour. I'm usually one for thin coats, but thicker coats are going to be your friend with this shade. Get a good bead of polish on the brush and glide it up your nail while applying as little pressure as possible. It will self-level into even streak-free finish, I promise. Here I used one thin coat followed by two thicker coats to cover up my nail line. It does dry shiny, but as per usual, I added top coat to seal everything up. Photos show three coats of Dashboard Dreamer with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.
This is an absolutely lovely shade. Once you remember to aim for thicker coats, you'll have no problem getting an opaque and even finish. You can find China Glaze on
