Products I Finished This Month - October 2016

Hello readers,
November is here which means it's starting to get chilly outside. Today I have the products I finished up in October to share with you.

Face

Last month I raved about the Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum with Willowherb, and I will again this month. I love this stuff! It really helps keep my skin that can't decide whether it belongs to a teenager or an adult under control. I just bought the biggest size they offer during the Sephora VIB rouge sale which should last me a while. I also finished a trio of masks from THEFACESHOP. I liked the clay and honey ones, but the almond pack had a weird gelatinous consistency that made it difficult to apply. Not sure if I would buy the set again, my I may repurchase the clay and/or honey ones individually. The GlamGlow Supermud continues to be a pricey favorite. However, I do have a few other clay masks in my stockpile so I'm going to see if I can put off repurchasing it until the new year. The Bite Beauty lush lip wipes that I got in a value set were great at removing stubborn lipsticks and stains. However, they are really expensive and I don't think I'd buy them again on their own.

Bath & Body

The usual I Love ... bubble bath makes a big appearance this month. There's nothing nicer that a bubble bath after a chilly fall day. I also finished a charcoal cleanser from the THEFACEHSHOP. This was meant to be a facial cleanser but since I do occasionally get breakouts on my shoulders and chest I used this as a body wash. It was really nice and the lather was very thick and luxurious. I'll definitely buy from this line again.

Hair

My go to Herbal Essences conditioners are here again this month. I also finished a tube of Dove's quench creme serum. I really like the Quench line but it's quite expensive for a drugstore brand. I on the fence about repurchasing for this reason.

Hand & Nails

With winter coming, hand care is even more important. I finished a tube of THEFACESHOP's Cherry Blossom hand creme. I like the formula though the scent was a bit too floral for my tastes. I do have another tube in a honey scent which I'm looking forward to trying. On the topic of scents, the Nivea Creme was just to strong smelling for me. I got this as a sample but I wouldn't purchase it for myself. Finally I finished a bottle of Emerald & Ash cuticle oil. Cuticle oils are a necessity for me though this particular brand has closed up shop. I'm testing out a few alternatives now.

Happy polishing,

Michelle
