Hello readers,
Today I have three more shades from the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche lipstick collection to share with you. Jam and Rhubarb are part of the permanent lineup but Mauvember 2016 is only available during November of this year and proceeds go to support the Movember Foundation. Make sure to read until the end of the post for your chance to win this year's Mauvember shade. First, let's take a look at some swatches.
Rhubarb
Rhubarb is a warm neutral pink cream shade. The formula was very pigmented and glided on comfortably though I did notice that this one seemed a tad more creamy than the other Amuse Bouche shades I have tried.
Jam
Jam is a cool berry cream. The bullet leans more purple but on the lips it leans more red. The formula on this one was somewhat patchy on me and took more swipes than I was expecting to get an even finish. On the plus side this wore really well on me and I didn't experience any feathering or bleeding around my lip line. This shade also left a bright fuchsia stain so keep that in mind if you plan on switching up shades during the day.
Mauvember 2016
Mauvember 2016 is a cool toned medium mauve. The formula was very pigmented and applied evenly. I experienced a little bit of tugging during application but other than that this shade was very comfortable to wear.

ReplyDeleteHahaha, yes, I know exactly what you mean! When I hold them side by side I wonder 'do I really need both of these?' but then I put them on and am like 'yes, yes I do'.
