Products I Finished This Month - September 2016

Hello readers,
October is upon us. I am totally on the ball this month and already have my empties in a row. Let's take a look at this month's hits and misses.

Face

Origins has really been working for my skin lately. I tried and loved the new By All Greens mask as well as the Retexturizing Mask With Rose Clay and the Renewal Serum With Willowherb. I have backups of all three already. I also continued to love GlamGlow's exfoliating mask. My big misses this month were two liquid eyeliners. The formula on the L'Oreal liquid liner just wasn't opaque despite being labeled 'intense'. The eyeko liner was just inconsistent. It would draw perfectly one second and seem dried out the next. I need a liner that's reliable.

Bath & Body

The usual I Love ... bubble bath is in the mix. I have one and a half sets left that need to last through to boxing day sales. It will be a close one. I also finished the BVSpa salt scrub that I got to review. I really liked it and have another tube to work my way through. I'll also be cutting this one open to get at the last bits inside. Finally I finished up a bottle of Dial Coconut Water body wash that I got in a Shoppers Drug Mart value pack. It was nice but no different that what I was already using.

Hair

The usual assortment of Herbal Essences and Pantene are in the mix. I also tried two new hair styling products. The TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume cream didn't work for my hair and just added a greasy feeling if I used enough to get any of the styling benefit. On the opposite end of the spectrum I loved the Pantene air spray. It's the perfect amount of hold for my every day needs to just keep things generally in place without and stiffness or crunch. I will definitely be buying this one in full size.

Hand & Nails

Only one hand care item this month, a Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners hand cream. I really like this stuff, but I'm not quite sure where to get it in Canada. I have a pretty big hand cream stockpile at the moment too so I'm not desperate for more.

Happy polishing,

Michelle
