Femme Fatale Cosmetics Dusk Till Dawn Trio {A Selection} Swatches & Review

Femme Fatale Dusk Till Dawn Trio

Hello readers,
Femme Fatale's October release features three blogger collaboration trios (a trio of trios!) in which the bloggers helped design the polishes. Today I have my personal picks from the Dusk Till Dawn designed de briz.

After Dark

Femme Fatale After Dark Femme Fatale After Dark

After Dark features a squishy navy blue jelly base filled with teeny silver holo glitters and translucent gold flakes. The formula is fairly sheer on the first coat but layers up nicely becoming opaque in three. It dies quite smoothly but I still added top coat for an extra glossy look. Photos show three coats of After Dark with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Red Sundown

Red Sundown is After Dark's even flakier burgundy cousin. Featuring a deep burgundy jelly based filled with as assortment of small copper holo glitters and copper flakes, this polish took two coats to become opaque, though you could add a third to deepen the colour. The formula was very easy to work with and dried quite smoothly. Photos show two coats of Red Sundown with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Conclusion

Squishy glitter jellies - yes! I love the finish of these two polishes. I was on the fence about buying Red Sundown. Red's usually aren't my thing but lately I've had a soft spot for deep vampy shades. I'm really glad I added this one to my purchase because it is so pretty. I don't think red can ever replace my love of blue though, so if I had to pick just one it would be After Dark. You can find Femme Fatale Cosmetics on

Happy polishing,

Michelle
