Zoya Seashells Collection Swatches & Review

Zoya Seashells Collection Swatch

Hello readers,
Today I have one of the newly released collections from Zoya to share with you.  For half of their summer 2016 shades they brought back the PixieDust textured formula in six new colours to create the Seashells collection.  Let's check it out!

Cece

Cece features a bright green textured base with a strong gold shimmer and a sprinkling of tiny gold and green glitters.  The formula was easy to work with and took two coats to become opaque.  Photos show tow coats of Cece in daylight spectrum lighting.

Tilly

Tilly features a silver textured base with a sprinkling of purple, charcoal and holo silver glitters.  The formula was very easy to work with just like Cece and took two coats to become opaque.  Photos show two coats of Tilly in daylight spectrum lighting.

Zooey

Zooey features a pink textured base with small pink and gold glitters along with larger silver holo hexes and a strong gold sheen.  The formula on this one was a tad more sheer than the first two shades, however, with a careful second coat it still takes two to become opaque.  Photos show two coats of Zooey in daylight spectrum lighting.

Bay

Bay features a bright blue textured base with small blue glttier and a strong gold sheen.  This shade was the most sheer of the collection.  I don't like using more than two coats with textured polishes though, so I was generous with the second coat and was able to get this shade pretty much opaque.  Photos show two coats of Bay in daylight spectrum lighting.

Levi

Levi features a yellow-toned gold textured base with holo gold hex glitters.  The formula was an easy two coater and the finish was a bit frostier than the other shades in the collection.  Photos show two coats of Levi in daylight spectrum lighting.

Linds

Linds features a cherry red textured base with small red glitters and a soft gold sheen.  This had the same formula as the majority of this collection and became opaque easily in two coats.  The finish, like Levi, leans more to a frost than the glittery finish of Bay or Zooey.  Photos show two coats of Linds in daylight spectrum lighting.

Conclusion

Overall this is a really solid collection and if you are a fan of textured polishes, I'm sure there are some shades calling your name.  My personal favorites are Tilly and Bay.  Zoya also released a couple coordinating lipsticks with their summer collections this year which you can see here.  You can find these polishes along with two new lipsticks and the Sunsets collection of matching cremes on

Happy polishing,

Michelle
