Today I have the first four polishes from the Ceramic Glaze LE Botanical Oasis collection. This collection features a selection of bright cremes along with a couple other interesting finishes to mix things up.
Heavenly is a sheer white pearl with a strong pink shimmer. After three coats my nail line still shows through quite clearly so unless you have shorter nails this would probably work best as a layering polish. The formula had very even application and didn't lend itself to obvious brush strokes so I think it could look nice over a creme base. Impulsive features a bright purple creme base filled with tiny blue and purple microglitters. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats to become opaque. My only issue was that my bottle came with a slightly wonky brush that had some bristles longer than the others. I didn't experience this with any of the other bottles though so I think it was just a fluke. This formula dries matte so a gloss top coat is a must. I found topcoat also made the colour look richer and brought out the glitters more. Photos show two coats of Impulsive with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze in daylight spectrum lighting.
Urbane is a soft peach creme. Though there is the slightest shimmer in the bottle, it isn't apparent on the nail. The formula was quite easy to work with. I found applying a thin first coat and a slightly thicker second coat worked well to achieve an opaque even finish. Perfect Peony is a neon watermelon pink creme. It had the same great formula as Urbane requiring one thin coat followed by a slightly thicker coat to become opaque. Photos show two coats of Perfect Peony with one coat of Girly Bits Glitter Glaze in daylight spectrum lighting.
My personal favorite from these four shades is Impulsive. I'm also really impressed with the formula of the two cremes. The Botanical Oasis collection is available now and I'll be back soon with swatches of the second half. In the meantime, you can find more information on
