Products I Finished This Month - January 2016

Hello readers,
January is over, which means winter is one third done! It also means that it's time to go through January's empties.

Hand & Nail

This month I finished my giant bottle of Zoya Remove+.  It's become my favorite polish remover and I've already bought another giant bottle to take its place.  I also finished up some Burt's Bees Cuticle Butter, CND Super Shiney top coat and Emerald & Ash cuticle oil.  I already have replacements for all three of these as well as they are all staples in my nail care routine.

Hair

I finished up a couple BeeKind hair care samples.  I did like them, but the products are just too pricey for me.  I also finished two conditioners from the Herbal Essences Naked line which continues to be a staple in my hair care routine.

Bath & Body

Lots of bath items this month ... especially bubble bath.  There's nothing like coming in from a cold day and soaking in a hot tub.  I also finished up some love love love body lotion from Bath & Body Works.  I really loved this lotion.  It smelled amazing and was super moisturizing.  Once my body lotion stockpiles start to run low I'll definitely keep this one in mind.  I also like the Yves Rocher Traditions de Hammam scrub.  It had a good amount of grit and smelled quite nice.

Face

Last up we have face products.  The standouts for me were the First Aid Beauty Skin Rescue Deep Cleanser, Sephora Mud Mask and Nivea Lip Smoothie.  The cleanser kept my acne prone skin under control without over drying it.  The Sephora Mud Mask is a good alternative to Glam Glow's Super Mud mask.  It's not an exact dupe but it is quite similar.  The Nivea Lip Smoothie was very hydrating while giving my lips a subtle hint of colour.  I wasn't very impressed with the Murad Clarifying Mask.  It dried out my skin a lot and was very difficult to rinse off.

Happy polishing,

Michelle
