Femme Fatale Lunar Halo Swatches & Review

Hello readers,
Today I have an older Femme Fatale polish to share with you.  I ended up using it as a topper on whim when I wanted to update my mani but didn't have time to start from scratch.  The results were magical.

Lunar Halo features a clear base jam packed with champagne to green colour shifting shimmer and smaller glitters along with a sprinkling of medium and large silver hexes.  The formula was a tad thick but the shimmer/glitter payoff more than made up for it.  Layered over a darker colour the shimmer comes alive.  I can't decide whether the effect is more mermaid or more outer space.  I required a coat of Gelous to smooth out the largest hexes but if you have flatter nail beds you may be able to get away without out.  Photos show one coat of Lunar Halo over Elevation Polish Elbrus 2 with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Nubar Diamont top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

... and here are a couple more in shaded lighting so you can really see that green shift come out to play.

So pretty! I've seen some swatches where it was layered to opacity on it's own, so I'll definitely have to try that in the future (when I'm wearing a peel off base coat). You can find Femme Fatale Cosmetics on:

Happy polishing,

Michelle
