Lucky 13 Lacquer We Are The Crystal Gems Collection Swatches & Review Part II

Hello readers,
Today I have the second half of the polishes sent to my by Lucky 13 Lacquer from their new collection to show you.  If you missed part one of my review, be sure to check it out here.

What Makes Me So Awesome!

What Makes Me So Awesome! features a black jelly base with amethyst hexes and start.  It was a tad sheer and took 3 coats to become opaque.  One the third coat I did have to do a tiny bit of dabbing to ensure there weren't any sheer spots.  The only part that didn't dry smooth for me were the edges of the stars due to my arched nail beds.  If you're like me you'll want to use a smoothing clear coat.  If you have flatter nail beds you can skip right to top coat.  Photos show three coats of What Makes Me So Aweseome! with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Nubar Diamont top coat in daylight spectrum lighing.

I Want To Inspire You

I Want To Inspire You features a shimmery seafoam green crelly base filled with silver dots, small pink hexes, blue squares and yellow star glitters.  This one took three coats coats to become opaque.  I did find it dried a little by more unevenly than the other crellies in the collection and would recommend a smoothing clear coat.  Photos show three coats of I Want To Inspire You with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Nubar Diamont top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

We Are The Crystal Gems

We Are The Crystal Gems features a nude leaning shimmery rose gold base with multiple sizes of silver hex glitter.  This polish also comes with a bonus bag of loose silver gem shaped glitters for accents.  I used three coats to cover my nail line, but if you have shorter nails or less distinct nail lines two coats will be enough.  The formula was a tad thick but I didn't experience any issues with self leveling.  I used Gelous to smooth out my hand placed gem glitters, but if you are wearing the polish alone, this isn't needed.  Photos show three coats of We Are The Crystal Gems with one coat of Gelous and one coat of Nubar Diamont top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

Conclusion

I think this is a really great collection.  There's a huge variety of colours and finishes but my personal favorite of the seven polishes I tried is Stronger Than You.  These polishes are available now on https://lucky13lacquer.com/.  Don't forget to use the code 'SH20' to get 20% of your L13L order until September 25th, 2015.  You can also find Lucky 13 Lacquer on:
