Today I have some subtle stamped nail art to show you. I started out with a base of Elevation Polish Grotte et Cascade and stamped a brocade design using A England Lady Of The Lake and Moyou London Fashionista Collection plate 07. I sealed everything up with a coat of H.K. Girl top coat. The effect is a subtle shimmering brocade print that lights up when it catches the sun.

Today I have a new to me brand to share with you. I've been seeing some gorgeous swatches fro Illyrian Polish floating around the indie community. However, until recently, they were only available in the US. I was very happy when Harlow & Co announced they were going to start stocking this brand and I picked this up along with some other shades during their first restock.

Today I have a polish from CrowsToes' 9 Realms collection to show you. I bought this when it first came out and then somehow it sat on my shelf for months without getting worn. Now that it's on my nails I never want to take it off. Look at that sparkle!

Today I have something a little different to show you. I had the chance to test and review Irresistible Me's Sapphire 8 in 1 Curing Wand. I'm always looking for efficient effective styling tools to tame my hair so I was excited to give this one a try.

Today I have a polish from Emerald & Ash's 2nd anniversary collection. These shimmery toppers look somewhat plain in the bottle but they come alive when layered over a base colour.

Today I have the Dead Sea Mud Mask sent to me by Maple Holistics to share with you. This is their second mask product that I tried from them (if you missed the first one, check out my Ancient Clay Facial Mask review). Unlike the Ancient Clay mask however, this mask came pre-hydrated and ready to go.

I love glitter. I hate taking it off, so I've tried out pretty much every peel off base coat there is. When Born Pretty Store offered me the chance to review theirs, I couldn't refuse. There weren't any directions on the bottle of website, so I just went with what I found worked best of other ones I've tried. I applied two thin coats over bare nails (except for my index finger... which had a thin layer of clear gel... we'll talk about that later) and let them dry completely. Then I polished as usual with one coat of CND Super Sticky basecoat, two coats of Reverie Nail Lacquer Aubergine, a coat of gelous and a coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat.

Today I have one of the polishes from A England's Rossetti's Goddess collection to share with you. At first I had convinced myself that I didn't need this one, but when I saw it in someone's destash for a great price, I couldn't resist. I'm glad I changed my mind.

Today I have another product from Maple Holistics to show you. Summer is hard on my feet. After months of strappy sandals and flip flops I'm left with callouses and dry spots all over. The Assuage Foot Scrub seemed like a great way to tackle these issues without having to pay for a pedicure.

How is it already September?? I feel like the summer flew by. Another month gone by means time for more empties. I challenged myself to tackle my stockpile of sample sizes this month and I made a good dent.

Today I have some nail art I put together for Bio Seaweed Gel's Welcome To Summer Nail Art Contest to share with you. I was challenged to come up with a summer inspired freehand nail art look using two BSG Unity polishes. For my mani I tried to mimic the ripples on the surface of a pool on a hot summer day. I did a dry marble using Whitehorse and Yellowknife and then, using a technique I accidentally discovered when swatching Whitehorse, I added physical ripples using a magnet. Here's the final look in daylight spectrum lighting.

Today I have another item from Born Pretty Store to show you. I decided to try out their stamping polish in a colour that I've had trouble finding a nice opaque version of - purple.
