Today we're going to take a little break from nail polish and talk about skincare. THEFACESHOP is a brand I'd heard about but never really explored before. When I was given the opportunity to review some of their products I was really excited to try out a new to me brand. THEFACESHOP sent me some of their Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam in peach and a Black Seed Firming Mask Sheet to try out.
BLACK SEED FIRMING MASK SHEET
Ok... full disclosure... I generally prefer a rinse off mask to a sheet mask. However, that didn't stop me from giving this one a try. The mask itself felt very cool and refreshing on my face. After letting it sit for a while, I took it off, squeezed out the excess liquid and applied that my face for a second round. In the end this mask left my skin feeling refreshed and moisturized but I didn't notice and significant difference in my skin.
HERB DAY 365 CLEANSING FOAM
I've been using this cleanser for about two weeks now and spoiler: I am in love. First off, a little goes a very long way. You only need about pea size drop of cleanser for your whole face and neck. This concentrated formula lathers into a thick mousse foam with a light peach scent. I'm pretty sure this tube will last me approximately forever. The best part is that this cleanser seems to have put up a successful fight against my pimples. I don't have terrible acne but there's always a few small zits kicking around my face, usually around my chin. Since switching to this cleanser the skin on my chin has become significantly clearer. Even better... I checked out THEFACESHOP website and found out that this cleanser only retails for $6. That's cheaper than most cleansers at the drugstore. I've been won over.
Though I didn't get significant results from the sheet mask I am super impressed with the cleanser. I will definitely be checking out some of THEFACESHOP's other products (I'm looking at you Real Clay Pack and Mango Seed Lip Scrub). Their prices are really affordable too which is always a bonus.
