ILNP Paper Route Swatches & Review

Hello readers,
I try to resist buying holo's these days since I tend to buy the same family of colours over and over again. However, when the ILNP Summer 2015 collection came out, I couldn't resist the lure of the flecked holos.  The flecked finish made them just different enough that I could justify picking up a few for myself. Paper Route is the first one I've had a chance to wear.

Paper Route features a light cool grey base with a mix of scatter holo shimmer and holo micro flakes. The formula was easy to work with and built up to full coverage in three coats. In the photos, the holo is fairly subtle due to the filtered lighting in my lightbox. In direct sunlight the rainbow shimmer is brighter though still very scattered. Photos show three coats of Paper Route with one coat of Seche Vite daylight spectrum lighting.

So what do think of this new finish from ILNP? I personally love it. It reminds me a bit of Picture Polish's 'bijoux holo' finish. I think the microflakes set it apart from the saturated holo market. You can find ILNP on

Happy polishing,

Michelle

    1. They are one of my top brands for holo's. I love how with their last couple collections (summer and fall 2015) they switched things up by adding holo flakes like in this polish.
