Elevation Pahlish The Venetian Duo Swatches & Review

Hello readers,
Today I have the polish collaboration from Elevation Polish and Pahlish to show you.  This pair is part of the Marco Polo collections recently released by each maker.  I rushed to get these swatches together for you since this duo is a limited edition for the month of August and there are only a couple of restocks left.

The Merchant's Son

The Merchant's Son is Elevation Polish's contribution to the duo.  It features a bright teal thermal with a soft green shimmer.  It turns a light shade of teal when warmed.  The formula was very easy to work with.  It took two coats to become opaque and dried smoothly.  Photos show two coats of The Merchant's Son with one coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

The Wayfarer

The Wayfarer is Pahlish's contribution to the duo.  If features metallic flakies and silver shimmer in a clear base.  The predominant colours are silver, green and blue but there are other shades mixed in there as well.  The formula on this one was easy to work with as well.  No dabbing was required and all the flakies lay flat against the nail.  Photos show one coat of The Wayfarer over The Merchant's Son (in its cold state due to chilly hands) with one coat of Essence Gel-Look top coat in daylight spectrum lighting.

I absolutely love this duo. The two polishes compliment each other so well. If you're looking to add these to your collection make sure to snag them soon as they won't be around for much longer.
