My review of December's beauty box 5 is a bit delayed due to boxes being shipped out late and then the craziness of the holidays taking over. Now that things have started to calm down I finally have a chance to sit down and get back to blogging. This month's theme was 'Merry & Bright" and here's what came in my box.
Jaqua Bath & Body Collection | Retail $18.00 - $36.00

I got the Rose Bouquet Hydrating Facial Mist. It comes in a nice glass bottle and will be nice for summer months when you need a quick refresh part way through the day.
Nanococo Nail Polishes | Retail $3.95 0.5fl oz.
"Bring in the holiday sparkle! These glitter polishes are perfect for a touch of shine as an accent nail of an oll-over twinking manicure for seasonal parties! BB5 Tip: Dab the glitter on in small dots instead of painting in strips like usual to get the most glitz per nail."
I really like the colours in this glitter polish. They are very wintery. I can see myself using this polish so I'm happy with it.
Lucky Brand Lucky Number 6 | Retails $15.99-$60.00
"With a blend of lotus, tiger lily, cashmere woods and jasmine, a spritz or two of this floral fragrance finishes off any look. BB5 Tip: huidity and sunlight can weaken perfume compounds so store this sample in a dry, cool place so it lasts."
I don't wear perfume so this sample is a waste to me. I'll end up swapping it or giving it away.
Juice Beauty Stem Cellular Moisturizier | Retail $65.00 1.7fl oz

In this month's sneak peek we were told that we'd either get this moisturizer or a 4 colour coastal scents shadow palette in out boxes. I was really hoping to get the shadow palette so was a bit disappointed when I got the moisturizer. I'll still use it but I wish that they'd base selections on our profiles more.
Absolute! New York Nail Polish Remover Pads | Retail $2.99 32 pads
"Change your mani as often as you change your mood with these pocket-sized handy nail polish remover pads. Bonus: their pleasing scents keep he hard remover-smell to a minimum."
I don't tend to have much luck with acetone-free removers but I'll still give this a try. It's a nice size to toss in my makup bag when traveling.
Conclusion
Overall I'm happy with this month's box. It's definitely a step up from the last two boxes. Unfortunately I've found that I've been getting more disappointing boxes than good ones lately so I've cancelled my subscription.
