Summer Of Untrieds Days 12, 13 and 14 - Nina Ultra Pro Soho Chic, Orly Hot Tropics and China Glaze Goldie But Goodie

Hello readers,
I've fallen a bit behind on my summer of untrieds posts so I've combine the last three days all into one.  The theme for day 12 was a crelly with glitter.  I chose Nina Ultra Pro Soho Chic.

In the bottle it looked like a crelly but on the nail it ended up looking more like a jelly.  Oh well.  The polish itself is very pretty and the formula was easy to work with.  The brush however was horrendous.  The end wasn't trimmed evenly and it was so wide that I had a lot of trouble getting to the edges of my nails neatly.  Photos show three coats of Soho Chic with one coat of HK Girl top coat in natural lighting.

The theme for day 13 was China Glaze and the theme for today, day 14, was neon.  I didn't have a chance to switch up my polish yesterday so I combined both themes into one today.

I used Orly Hot Tropics as my base colour.  The formula was actually way better than I expected.  Neons tend to be sheer but this one went opaque in two coats.  I love the fine gold flecked shimmer in it too.  I stamped on the pattern of circles using China Glaze Goldie But Goodie and Cheeky jumbo plate B.  Photos show the two polishes with one coat of CND Super Shiney top coat in natural lighting.

Phew! All caught up.  I'm usually not a pink polish person but Hot Tropics may be an exception.

Happy polishing,

Michelle
