I really love shimmery textured polishes. When I saw swatches of the L'oreal Gold Dust collection start popping up I searched for them everywhere but couldn't find them. I'm not sure if they weren't distributed in Canada or just didn't make it to stores around me. Either way, my super awesome American friend picked some of them up for me and sent them my way.
Hidden Gems is a dark teal with small silver glitters. The formula was easy to work with and only two coats was required. In the bottle it had an amazing purple shift but unfortunately that disappeared once it was on the nail. Photos show two coats of Hidden Gems with no top coat in natural lighting.
While still a very pretty polish I do wish the teal colour were as bright on the nails as it is in the bottle. It just has a glow to it in the bottle that goes away once you put it on. Overall though it's still a great polish. I'm looking forward to trying the other two I snagged from this collection.
