I don't find myself buying a lot of drugstore polishes these days but sometimes there's one that catches my eye and I must have it. This was the case with Maybelline Beaming Blue. It was just so shimmery and glittery and blue!
This polish is packed blue shimmer and various sizes of deep blue hex glitter. In certain lighting you'll also get a soft purple color shift. The formulas was great and applied really easily despite all the glitter. It became opaque after two coats but you could definitely use a single coat over a base color as an alternative. Photos show two coats of Beaming Blue with one coat of Seche Vite in natural lighting.
This polish is just gorgeous!!! My fingertips look like crushed jewels. I hope other mainstream brands take a hint and come up with more creative stuff like this.
